West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
Location: The airport is located 4 miles (6km) west of Palm Beach.
Time: GMT -5 (GMT -4 between the first Sunday in April and the
last Sunday in October).
Facilities: Passenger services at the airport include bars, shops
and restaurants, ATMs, currency exhange, hotel reservations and travel insurance.
The Traveler’s Service Center on the second floor offers meeting rooms and
business facilities, including fax, internet and photocopying. Disabled facilities
are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Parking: The airport has both long- and short-term parking adjacent
to the terminal.

Palm Beach County, through its Department of Airports, operates and maintains Palm
Beach International Airport (PBIA). On October 23, 1988, a new state of the art
terminal building was dedicated and exists as a truly superb example of a user friendly,
congestion free, modern airport. PBIA has 28 aircraft gates with the potential for
24 additional gates at a later time.
The 560,000 square foot terminal includes a concession mall which runs the length
of the building. Other features include three passenger concourses and holding areas.
A new beautifully landscaped roadway system leads to separate levels at the terminal
for arriving and departing passengers.
Palm Beach International Airport is conveniently located to serve the air trade
area of Palm Beach County and the four surrounding counties. The airport is located
2.5 miles west of downtown West Palm Beach and just 3.5 miles west of Palm Beach.
PBIA is situated adjacent to Interstate Highway 95 and is accessible from anywhere
in Palm Beach County. Boca Raton is approximately 20 miles south and Jupiter is
only 15 miles north.
Palm Beach international Airport has 1,100 short term parking spaces and 2,300 long
term spaces at ground level. A major new feature is the Customs and Immigrationfacility
which is capable of handling 300 passengers per hour and aircraft up to the size
of B747-400.

Passengers traveling through Palm Beach International Airport may receive assistance
from our Airport Ambassadors located throughout the terminal. Very visible in their
teal colored jackets, the ambassadors are available to assist travelers with their
information requirements.

Located in the center of baggage claim, Level One, passengers may reach local hotels,
motels, and transportation providers through direct phone lines to the advertisers.
TDD phones are available for the hearing impaired. Passengers may also receive a
wide range of information on arts and culture as well as related activities throughout
the area.

ATMs are located at the Travel Service Center, Level Three, Ticketing, Level One,
baggage claim and on concourses B and C.

Self-service baggage carts may be rented in baggage claim and returned at locations
curbside and in parking lots. $3.00 for rental; $0.25 refund upon return to rental
unit.
- Facilities for the Disabled
Wheelchairs are available through respective airlines. TDD phones are available

White telephones are located throughout the terminal building and parking garages.
Callers are connected with the airport communications center where paging service
