Key West's Shipwreck Historeum
In the 1850s Key West earned the designation of
"Richest City in the United States." How this feat was achieved is the focus of

vessels unlucky enough to founder on the reefs around Key West.
Key West Aquarium
Originally built by the WPA in 1934, the Key
West Aquarium was the world's first open-air aquarium. Today Key West's oldest attraction
is enclosed for all weather viewing. This family-friendly spot includes a touch
tank for the kids, glassed in display tanks and a feeding tank where you can watch
sharks, barracudas, tarpon, stingrays and turtles stuff themselves.
Audubon House & Tropical Gardens

commemorate Audubon's 1832 stop in the Keys to study birds. Audubon is a community
