The Aquarium of the Pacific (formerly the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific is an aquarium on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) site on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach.You can meet 11,000 animals as you explore exhibits that represent sunny Southern California, Baja, Northern Pacific, and the reefs of the Tropical Pacific. You can actually touch sharks in the Shark Lagoon as well as an Animal-Vision 3-D film. 
 
 
The Queen Mary (The Grey Ghost)
 
Visit the historic Queen Mary cruise Liner. In 1939, at the start of the World War II, the Queen Mary was drafted into service and outfitted as a troopship. Deemed the Grey Ghost due to her new camouflaged grey exterior, she joined the Allied Forces and played a crucial role. When the war ended, she was restored to her former glory and continued passenger service. In 1966, Queen Mary was for sale and winning bid was $3.45 million dollars and thus began the ship’s new journey to her new home in Long Beach.
